Hi,

I will be applying for my naturalization next year. Once I have received the Naturalization Certificate, is it possible to apply for a British Passport outside the UK?

I might be a chance that I might be relocating the the middle east for a job opportunity. Hence I would like to know in case the i have to leave do to other reasons, would it be possible to apply for British Passport outside UK?

Download the application form.
Use the ‘Applying for a passport if you’re outside the UK’ guidance notes to help you fill in the application form.

Include 2 identical new photos of you (or your child, if it’s a child passport application). Follow the rules about passport photos or your application may be delayed.

Check the guidance notes to find out which supporting documents you must send with your application. You must get documents that aren’t in English - including documents showing an address - fully translated by a professional translator.

hello i want to ask i have applied for a child passport from libya and the child was born there and i have a british passport and the application process is on its 8 months i dont know what to do and where to go is this usual for an overseas passport to be delayed
