Photograph for form AN

Hello can someone please confirm that the photo which goes in form AN (the one on referee page) will be the same photo appearing on British Passport if the application is approved or can we submit another photo later on while going for that IPS interview?

The reason I am asking this is that I have had a photo taken yesterday and it is OK to send with the form AN but I would not like the same photo to appear in my passport. My hair are looking quite awful in that photo :(

Yes they will use the same photo provided with the AN form which will appear on your British passport.

You can use a different recent photo of yourself for your passport application once you attend ceremony and receive your certificate.

Form AN is a separate application (UKBA) to Passport application (IPS).

SECTION 5: REFEREES & IDENTITY
You must include a recent passport size photograph of yourself with your application.

Ideally not more than a month old...
