Hello,

I got my HSMP visa on 10 July 2007 and got ILR on 20 August 2012. I attended my Naturalisation Ceremony on 09 October 2013 and got my British Passport in November 2013.

My husband came into UK on dependent visa on 05 August 2011 and got his ILR in on 30 August 2013.

When could I apply for his British Citizenship application? Does he need to complete 5 years in the UK before applying for British Citizenship application?

Thank you in advance for your time.

Hello
Thanks for your reply.

Doesn't the time of 3 years start after spouse naturalization? or since the first arrival in the UK? Is there any home office document link you could post!

Thanks.

Have a look at this link:
http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/briti ... ofcitizen/

It has the residential requirements for spouse. i.e three years from date of application
