Anyway to apply for Citizenship early

Hi I got my ilr November last year and wanted to know if I could apply for citizenship earlier then the usual 1 year wait.

Reason for this is that my mother is ill back home (Bangladesh) and needs some one to look after her on a long term basis,
my father passed away and now I need to deal with his estate and sort out inheritance as no will was left behind and these things take a very long time and it would involve multiple journeys to and fro.

Would it be possible to apply under

period of limited leave was more than 90 days at the beginning of the 12 month period, and the other statutory requirements, including the other residence requirements, are met, only if :

the applicant has established links with the UK through presence here of home, family and a substantial part of estate, and

there are compelling business or compassionate reasons to justify granting the application now; or

I do have a flat in London but it's in my parents name but I have been living in it since 2002.

Thanks in advance

I'm not sure i understand the issue. Why can't you just sort out the issues in Bangladesh and apply for BC in November (or later).

It will take more then 90 days to sort out and once the process has started I will have to go to courts regularly until everything is sorted so I would have like to obtain the citizenship and then go and sort everything out.
And the sooner I get it I can see my mother.

What if I am away for more then 90 days will I be apply the following year ie nov 2015

Thanks

You can still apply in November 2014. If you don't meet the requiremets, the case worker can apply discretion (see Q3 in the FAQ for more details). You have a better change to rely on that discretion, then on the 1 year after ILR discretion.

Or you can wait until your absences during the last year are less than 90 days and apply without relying on additional discretion. Depeding on when your absences are, you might need to wait a few months but it would be less than 1 year.
