hello

Can someone confirm and tell me what is it like when you got a British citizenship via naturalisation process, you have your British passport, then you live abroad for 10 years in Germany, then you need a new British passport, is there any problem or complication to get it if you live abroad for many years, will you have to provide some supporting documents to get a new passport like for a naturalisation process? Or simply you would have to fill in the passport form and someone who has and Eu passport in Germany has to countersign it? and then you still got a new British passport for next 10 years?

is there any rule taht If you have a British citizenship, after 10-20 years living abroad you can not get a British passport?

You apply to renew the passport with the embassy and follow the same process as if you are applying in the UK. As you only recently got British citizenship etc, why the concern so early?

but you might not be abroad in 10 years time. when you need to renew, wherever you are, apply for a renewal.
