Hello everyone,

I am just wondering if anyone knows how many days/weeks/months in advance that I should book an appointment with the NCS?

I understand each office has their own availability and can only take so many applicants each time. But I would like to konw which NCS office will be able to offer appointment more easily and does not require so many weeks notice.

Anyway, if you have had any good experience when booking appointment with any NCS office, please let me know.

Richmond and Kingston (London) NCS can be booked couple of days in advance.

It really depends upon the volume and the office. I originally wanted to use the NCS closest to my work but as it was a month from the 28 Oct rule change, they were experiencing very high demand (even in September) for the service. I then went to the NCS close to home and they had heaps of availability throughout October. They were only 7 miles apart and 20 min from each other by train.

I would assume there would be a rush in March as the fees increase in April.

try hammersmith and fulham, it can be booked online and there seems to be alot of slots available can be even booked on the same day

I used Wandsworth for my UKM, they had appointments the same day. I booked online and ended up going a couple of weeks ago on a Saturday.

Second Wandsworth - easy online booking system and had appointments the next day available. Also do late appointments (18:45) and Saturdays:
