Life in the UK Test

Hi,
We have passed Life in the UK test about 4 years ago for ILR application. Can anyone tell me if we need to take the New English test for applying citizenship?

English Level B1 test certificate is required for citizenship applications, unless you are from a majority English speaking county, i.e. USA, Australia, New Zealand, etc. LIUK is not sufficient to meet the English requirement.

My mistake as I misread...from October 2013 English test level B1 speaking and writing is required.

You don't need to attend a course, you can book to do the test to get the certificate.

Can anyone pass me a link about this English Test? I do not think I have any troubles to pass them however, I have to arrange my time to prepare and sit for it.
Also, can anyone tell me if I need to pay any fees for going college for preparing this English course?

You don't need to sit for course it's very easy .pet English exam is cheapest 70 pounds but it's a long 3 hour exam.the shortest exam is gese grade 5 which is 10 min waking and listening cost 125 pounds approx.

Thank you for all advice.
We are in North East England, I have searched online last night about these courses and exams. I have not decided which exam board I am going to go yet. Because all colleges/exam centres state that I have to 'ring for details'. I will ring them next week.
Yes, time and money are the biggest issue!!!
