Hi everyone, I am new on this forum and I need your advice. I currently have ilr and wife's visa was refused 2months ago and we are married with 2 kids , the eldest was born before I had my ilr and the second was born after my ilr. I tried to fill the British passport forms for the 2 children but at the section 2 of the form you have to fill the details of both parents . My concern is if write the details of the two of us, hope this will not lead to something else because her visa was refused 2 months ago. hope to hear from someone soon.

The eldest is probably not British, unless he was granted registration.

Please title threads accordingly rather than 'hello'.

Why was your wife refused? Where was the eldest child born and what is his/her current immigration status?

the eldest has been registered as british because she was born here before I had my ilr

the eldest was born in uk and I had registered her as british and the only concern is filling my wife's details in the form when she is illegal at the moment but we are trying to sort something out through the lawyer

Then Mother's status is irrelevant, just mark NA where it asks her status. Then put in the extra information box, child is British by virtue of section 1(3) BNA and other child is British by virtue of section 1(1)(b) BNA.

thank u so much for the reply, the status of one of the parents were asked to be provided in the form which is obviously is going to be mine, but my main concern is, in the section 2 of the form we are asked to fill in the details of both parents and currently she has no visa because she was refused . I am now thinking if I fill in both details of ours and they check it at the home office it might lead to another problem. just trying to play safe
