Hi,

I am new to this forum i need some help to apply for naturalisation. I got my ILR in dec 2011 now i need some advice to fill in AN Form.
I am a house wife never worked in this country so in section 3, 3.1 under occupation just write House wife? no more details isnt? Also i did my ielts in 2008 is it still acceptable i did have 6.5 in ielts. As referee i do not know any one who is in higher position as stated by HO in guidance i do have some friends who got British passport , can they be my referee or i need some professional person as a referee?
if i cant find any professional person as referee what are the options for me to apply for Naturalisation?

thanks for your help.

I suggest you read the AN form Booklet
https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/s ... let_an.pdf

what grounds are you applying the Naturalization on ?

regarding referee there are some certain requirements. as far as i understand its not a "mandatory requirement" but you must have a jolly good reason for not having one.

I don't think any application has been rejected solely on the basis of "not having a referee" but you must explain as to why you cannot provide as far as i understand.

* I am not an expert and trying to help as i have been helped by lots of people here.

I strongly suggest you find the two referees Home Office is asking for.
Your first referee should be a professional and it doesn't have to be a British citizen ( a minister, bank manager, etc..). Your second referee must be someone over 25 with a British passport. They both should have known you for at least 3 years.
