Hi,
I lost my brp ILR card in India. Came to UK and applied for brp replacement card as it was mandatory.
I was eligible for British citizenship and applied the same through ncs with approval letter. Received my approval and ceremony booked for 2nd April.
But my passport is with home office for replacement brp card. Please advice what to do?
Can I call on some number and request for my passport. What If takes more than 90 days for my passport to come through. Really worried.

What is required from you is proff of photo ID i.e full U.K. driving licence and letter that was sent to you confirming approval of your naturalization, just these tow are fine.

Just contact them to return your passport as BRP is no longer needed once you are naturalised.
I am not Indian national and I suppose you are. from what i came across this forum, you should renounce your Indian Nationality once you obtained your BC!
May be other members could confirm?

i am bit confused here. you said in your first post that you lost your BRP while aboard, came back to UK and then applied for BC. my understating is that you used your passport when applying for BC, correct? as NCS willnot accept applications without passport/ EU ID card!
then sent it for BRP replacement, right again?

Thank you southwest1.
I had applied for naturalisation through NCS on 22nd jan and brp replacement on 25 Jan.
Applied for brp replacement as I didn't want to break the rule.
