Ceremony queries

Hello senior members
I received approval letter yesterday. I would like to book a private ceremony is it possible I can contact council before I receive ceremony invitation letter to arrange private ceremony ? Please advise

I would directly contact the council and them the question.

Thanks ban I just spoken to my friend he had his ceremony 3 months ago we both based in Harlow Essex and he had his ceremony in chelmsford I am not sure which council I should contact.

If you are in Essex, generally you have to go to Chelmsford, as its the administrative HQ for Essex..

You can call the NCS of your county and ask for sooner appointment in any location with in your county.
This is what I was told by NCS hampshire..

Dabbler80, you should wait for the invitation letter as this will have the details of the council to contact and it will also have a reference number the council will ask you for to book your ceremony.

Thanks for advise. Its almost one week since I received approval and no invitation letter yet
