I am getting slightly confused here after getting mixed responses...

My wife got her British Citzenship last year in August 2013. At that time I was on Tier 1 general and I got my ILR Approved today ( 9 May 2014).We both have individual Tier 1 General visa and no one was on dependent visa at any point of time in last 5 years

Now my question is can I apply for British Citizenship straightaway on basis of being married to a British Citizen ???

How long have you been married for?

We got married in India in Dec 2009..both of us were on Indian passport at that time

You may want to double check this but in my opinion as of today you are eligible for British citizenship. Of course there is other criteria such as residence in this country (3 years).
