Hi,

I hold British Passport. My wife and 2.5 year old daughter are on ILR.

My daughter was born in India. We are moving back to India and do not have much time left to apply citizenship from UK, so I would like to know -

1. If I can apply for British Citizenship and passport for my daughter from India?
2. Where do I need to submit the form and does the oath ceremony required for 2.5 year old child?

1. No to registration abroad but yes to passport once British.

2. MN1 using the NCS should be quickest. You should be aware that the child's future intention should be in the UK.
