Everytime I applied for an application with UKBA.. the waiting time was tooooo long . It so happens exactly when I apply  :P  ....

In 2012 I applied Tier 1 General by post in Feb and it took exactly 110 days becoz UKBA was busy sorting out VISAs for ppl who are participating in Olympics either for playing or attending .. Generally my friends heard it in a month.

In 2013 for ILR I thought going in person cannot stop me from getting my application without any delays. Exactly on that day sadly a person has cut his hand and was bleeding in protest of rejected Asylum application I think. Police have calmed the situation. we were moved to another room. Later in the day after long wait the agent told me that they will collect the application as it was late evening and I heard from them after 3 weeks. This is for a premium service..not by post.

In 2014 .. Now I have applied for citizenship .. generally friends who applied in 2013 completed the whole process in less than 3 months and now I see that we don't hear about citizenship application alone in more then 3 months....

Such is my bad luck .. how abt you. Nothing came easy for me although there is no issue with my applicaiton   Any stories to share ?

My application for Tier 1 extension took 14 months and that too was a rejection. So count yourself lucky.

Its long story. You could check my previous posts for the story.
But long story short UKBA cant be bothered about the immigrants. They treat them as cash cows to be squeezed of the last drop as much as they can.
