I just got my indefinite leave to remain about 6 months ago. I have a child who was born 2 years ago when i was on my PSW Visa.
My partner who is the mother to my child is on Work Permit Visa with my 2 years old as her dependant.

Just wondering if i can now apply for a British Passport for my Child as i now hold ilr or should i first naturalize to be a british citizen then apply for her passport.
Thanks for your help.

The child will need to be registered as British first, which can be done now on form MN1 under section 1(3), assuming the child was born in the UK.

Thanks for your reply. My child was born in UK and has same Visa as the mother as she is her dependant.
Because she has a Visa does that affect her application of registration as a british citizen?

Thanks

No as it's an entitlement.
