Hi All,

My daughter was born in UK on 13/03/2013. I along with my daughter and wife got our ILR on 29th July 2014. Can someone please tell me the step by step process to apply for citizenship for my UK born daughter. Our nationality is Indian.

It will be of great help.

Firstly, you could have saved yourself money as it was not necessary to apply for your child's ILR as child was born in the UK. Link below has lots of information and contains links to the form and the guide for form MN1. Have a read and if you then have questions, feel free to ask.

The child is entitled to register under section 1(3) of the BNA.
