Hi experts,

This is regarding Naturalisation application (AN Form), Section 1 (Personal Information). Appreciate your advice on the following.

After marriage all my wife's documents (passport, BRPs) have my surname. However, I've not filled out/not provided her First name + Maiden Name against "Name at birth/If you are known by any other names" field, right from bigining of UK Visa process (Tier1, extension and ILR). Do I now, need to provide her first name and Maiden Name on AN form ?? If you say yes, under wich question should I write her "Firstname + Maiden name" 1.7 or 1.8?

1.7 Name at birth if different from above. (If the names you have given are different or spelt differently from the name shown on your passport, please explain why on page15)

1.8 If you are or have ever been known by any name or names apart from those mentioned above, please give details here.

Since you expect reply only from expert/gurus, it is very difficult to answer for lesser mortals like me.

You provide your wifes pre marriage name + surname in 1.7

Nothing in 1.8

On page 15, say surname changed after marriage.

Nothing to worry about, i am not guru but my wife did this and she has her passport now. Adopting husbands surname is the expected practice, so nothing new here.

Ps: pls do not forget to verify with gurus or experts
