Short Gap During Visa Application & British Citizenship

My circumstance is as follows:
I entered the UK in 2005 on a Student Visa. The Student Visa was due to expire on 31/08/2008. I applied for leave to remain as a work permit holder before the expiry date of my student visa. However, just after my student visa expired, I received a letter from the Home Office saying that my application had been returned as invalid due to photographs issue. I then reapplied for leave to remain after the expiry date on my student visa. For re-applying, I went through a solicitor. My date of re-applying was around 04/09/2008, so I had overstayed by 4 days. My leave to remain application was subsequently granted by the Home Office on 17/09/2008.
I subsequently changed my employers and obtained Tier 2 Visa successfully. On completing 5 years as a Work Permit Holder & Tier 2 Visa, I applied for ILR. The ILR was successfully granted.
I am now approaching the time to apply for British Citizenship.
My query is that this short overstay period of a few days that I had when I applied for Work Permit in 2008 and the application was returned as invalid. Would this have any effect on my British Citizenship application? Also, would I need to declare this in my British Citizenship application?
Advise with the above will be much appreciated.
