Hi,

Is it mandatory to apply for BC only within Two years from the date of ILR taken?
I have got 10 years ILR. If I move out of UK without taking citizenship but return to UK after say 5 years from now, then stay in the UK for next Three years, will I not be qualified to apply for citizenship then?

Pls advise.

If you move out of UK on ILR for two years or more you will lose your ILR.

There is no mandatory requirement to Naturalise, you can stay on ILR forever....
