Hi,

Does referees have known to the applicant for more than 3 years in case of MN1 ?

MN1 form and guideline says "have known the applicant personally" but does not says "have known the applicant personally for more than 3 yrs" as in AN form.

My child's teacher is going to sign as one of the referee, but my child has joined that school last year only. so her teacher has know to her for 1 year or less.

My daughter had attended private nursery in 2010 for 1 yr. Can I take their sign as one of the referee?

Appreciate your help.

I was in a similar dilemma last year but long story short you are worrying for no reason. I take it that your child is around 3-4 years old, just get whatever reference you can and it will be OK. They are not very strict about references for young children. It is more like a formality at this age. For my son I got reference from his nursery teacher who knew him for around 1.5 years and it all went smoothly.
Also the guideline says that if they are not happy with the reference then they will ask you to provide a different reference, so rest assured your application will not be rejected on the basis of reference.
Hope this helps mate.
