MN1 Form Query

Hi All

I have been recently granted ILR on the basis of long residence. Now I am going to apply for my two UK born children using MN1 form Section 1(3). While filling the form I came across some questions where I need some clarification.

1.5 Surmane/Family Name
Should I put First name and then Surname or vice versa

1.9 Present Nationality
If child doesn't have any passport yet even then should I put my nationality or leave it blank?

1.34 Child's mother's contact telephone and email address (if different form child's)
I have put my contact details in section 1.16. Do I also need to put child's mother's details as well?

Section 2 : If child is UK born but travelled abroad once should this section need to be filled?

3.1 I am not British citizen yet. Should I still tick the box?

3.4 If I am applying for my children on my ILR basis should I still need to fill 3.4 & 3.5?

3.6 - 3.12 Do I need to fill any of these questions?

I'll be grateful if someone can answer above questions.

Thank you in advance.

It seems no one has any answer to my questions.
Can someone recently applied for their children under MN1 Ssection 1 (3) share their experience?

If you have searched the forum you would have been able to find answers to all your questions instead of waiting for them. Alternatively, you could have read the guide.

For your questions:

1.5 the question asks for surname not first name. First name goes in 1.6 (other names).
1.9 - the question asks for nationality. Not a passport. A passport is a travel document. You can hold a nationality without a passport.

1.34 you should put the mother address if different than the child's.

2. Section 2 is not required for UK born children.
3. Section 3 is not relevant for UK born children applying under section 1(3).
