For Section 5 of the AN 1 form, would it be Ok if typed all the information of the referees and they just signed it. Also, is there no joint fee (for husband and wife applications) anymore?

I think it would be a better option for the referees to complete the 'Referee' page in their own handwriting tbh.

No, there is no longer a joint fee, each applicant has to pay an individual full fee.
