Hi every one ,
I am bit confused about whether i need to do ielts to prove knowledge of language , here are my details

i am through Tier 1 route . For tier 1 and extension of tier 1 i proved by showing a university letter stating my bachelor,s degree was taught in english and medium of instructions were in english and they granted me 10 points for english and for ILR i did the same .

Now i am about to apply for citizenship on 18th of this month , can anybody help me whether i need to do ielts to prove knowledge of language ?

please reply ASAP if some one has gone through citizenship without ielts .

If your degree was taught in English then this will be enough to prove sufficient knowledge of the English language. Just send a point based calculator print-out with your application and of course the degree certificate.

IELTS is just one way of proving that you have the required language skills; if you have another form of proof then you do not specifically need the IELTS test.
