Hi,

I need clarification on the following. I have Bachelor's degree from a UK university.

In GUIDE AN (Naturalisation as a British citizen - A guide for applicants), on page 13 under the section "Evidence of knowledge of Language and of Life in the UK ", it says that I need to provide:
- Your original degree certificate and one of the following:

1) A print out from the point-based calculator, with the equivalent level of your degree and and the level of English
My questions.

1) The document seems clear on that but can someone confirm that I need to send in the original degree certificate?

2) The degree certificate comprises of
- cover (with the university's logo, my name, the level of the degree, etc.)
- an official, signed letter confirming the award
- 3 pages detailing the grades, credits and pass results

What of the above is to be included in the application?

3) Do I need to provide the points based calculator in case of a UK degree? In another thread on this forum, it was said NO. http://www.immigrationboards.com/britis ... 63207.html

If I still need to provide the PBC, what is this / how to obtain it?

Thank you,
Marcel

1. Yes, the original.
2. What you call the cover.
3. No, not needed for UK degrees.

If you use the NCS you can keep your original documents as they will make copies.
