Didn't get life in the uk letter back from ILR application

Hi all,

Anyone had the same experience? My spouse and I passed the life-in-the-uk test in May 2013, and we supplied our two original confirmation letters in the joint ILR application. Our application was approved in November 2013, but we did not receive our life-in-the-uk test confirmation letters back. Now we are about to submit BC application and need to supply a proof. Do we need to re-take the test? Or is the ILR residence card enough for the application? Any suggestion? Thanks a lot!

Do you have the number of the LIUK test?

No. Should I ring them to get the number? LIUK has a helpline: 0800 015 4245

Hi

I had the exact same issue when I applied for my ILR.
I applied ILR using the same day service over Croydon, and when they returned all the documents I checked there and found out LIUK certificate was missing, so I went back to the counter and asked the lady.
She then went inside to get it - very apologetic, she said must have forgot as we carried checks on the certificate's genuineness. etc

So it might have happened with you.
We all humans, we can make mistakes.

Should have enquired right after the ILR.

Hope you get the number from the helpline by giving your details.
:)

Update: called UKBA. The reply was: attach a letter with names and test center. They will be able to locate the record. :)
