Hi,
I am applying for Naturalization and have following queries.

I and my wife(who was on dependent Tier-1) had got ILR on Sept 2013. Could somebody please clarify if she is eligible for applying for Naturalization along with me now?
i) Her first entry in UK is on Aug 2008.
ii) She went to India for delivery on Jan 2009 and returned on Oct 2009.
iii) From Apr 2010 till April 2011 she was in India as i have moved back to India for Work. (I came back on Feb'11 and she came on Apr'11)
iv) We got ILR on Sept 2013
v) When we calculate, she was out of country for 468 days in the past 5 years.
vi) In the last one year she was out of country for 31 days.
vii) In the last 3 year she was out of country for 81 days.

Based on the above scenario can we both apply for Naturalization together now?

Thanks

Both of you can only apply based on a 5 years residency + 1 year ILR.
Your wife will be applying on her own accord not as dependent.
As far as her absences are concerned she should be all right. Even though absences up to 450 days are allowed, anything up to 480 days is disregarded if applying based on 5 years residency + 1 year ILR.
Please read page 7 and 8:
https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/s ... let-an.pdf

It is important that she was officially UK resident for the last 5 years.
