Registration for my daughters

I have ILR for both myself and my daughters who are minors. I went to the checking center to submit our documents for naturalisation and registration for my girls but was told that if I submit the documents the home office might not approve for my daughters because their father lives abroad and is not even a dependant on my visa. He has a 10years visa and visits regularly. My daughters were not born in the UK. Please can anyone advise me on the way forward.

Thanks Vinny but the link directs me to chapter 20 for british citizens otherwise not by descent. I have searched for the chapter but to no avail.

I have seen the link now but still confused on my daughters been eligible to be registered with their father not a dependant on my visa. I know it is at discretion of home office but has anyone had this type of situation?

They are living with you and have been granted ILR with you. So I believe that the UKVI accepts that you have
sole responsibility over them.
I think that they may
succeed, especially if you succeed.

Many thanks, I am still married to their daddy and he does support the children but really scared of sending documents. My own documents are already in the home office, will wait until I get my own back. Thanks but anyone with similar successful experience?

I have succeeded in my naturalisation, the approval was received yesterday. Please has anyone had my type of issue? I would be grateful if I could have any update from anyone. Thanks
