Penalty Charge Notice (PCN) Issued after Naturalisation appl

Hi,

I have applied for naturalisation, through NCS, on 23/12/2014 from my wife and I. I was issued with Penalty Charge Notice (PCN) after the naturalisation application for the incident on 09/12/2014, which is before I applied.

Just to summarize, PCN is issued after the naturalisation application for an incident that occurred before the naturalisation application.

Question:
1) Should I inform UKBA about the new PCN issued? (Paid the fine straight away)
2) Will it affect the outcome of my application considering I have an FPN and 3 points on my license which is 4 months old? (paid the fine straight away)

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Regards,
Shiv

I will advise you to state your traffic offence that gave you FPN so that Guru's can advice you accordingly. But reading from this posting, it seems the PFN was issued by Police since it attracts a fine and 3 points on your licence. If this is the case, I think you need to declare it as soon as possible, as it will be on police data base and Home Office will check during " Good Character" verification process. I am not sure if your application will be refused because of this offence. Guru's can comment on this.

Have you got a parking fine (PCN) or something else given by police?

Hi Johnj1 , stokbrig

I was issued with Parking Charge Notice (PCN) and not FPN.

Reason:

Failed to pay charges for having parked in The O2.

I went to The O2 to watch a rubbish (I am not sure why word rubbish is being replaced with the word rubbish) and for rubbish goers parking is free for 2-3 hours in stipulated parking zones.
I parked in one of those zones. The barrier wasn't down to restrict me from coming out of the parking area after watching the rubbish. So I assumed that is because it was mid night and the barriers would be left open. And since the website says it's free for rubbish goers I didn't bother much. (Looks like I should have)

But received the PCN on 09/01/2015 dated 05/10/2015 for an incident that occurred on 09/12/2014.

Regards,
Shiv

Was it issued by council or parking company?
If it was issued by parking company, you don't need to worry as that has no legal standing.
If it was issued by council then that is a different matter.

By the look of it seems like it was issued by a Parking Company.
I went on to the website given in the letter issued to me. It took me to Park & Go website which has NCP logo on it.

You are not even legally obliged to pay that fine.

I gave it a thought. Since I don't have any evidence handy to prove my point I thought let me go ahead and pay.
Also didn't want this to have any effect on my Naturalisation application if it really comes to that...

You don't need to inform HO.

Thanks Khurshid.

Do multiple PCN's have an impact on the outcome of the Naturalisation application?

I might have few for parking.

According to AN guide, yes they could. I haven't seen anybody here with definite answer about PCNs as refusing someone on the basis of PCN is just like an excuse. Nothing to do with good character.

I have the FPN issued for speeding in Aug 2014. I was fined £100 with 3 points on my license. This was issued through a post by Stratfordshire Police and NOT through a court. I accepted and paid the fine immediately.

I did declare this offence in the Naturalisation application. However I didn't say it was issued by a police.

Do UKVI check if it was issued by a Court or Police before making a decision?

You only had to mention that on more info page.
Court doesn't issue FPN, only police does. Court passes a sentence which can lead you to pay a fine but that is still a sentence not FPN.
