Hi
I am wondering if someone had same case or anyone can give me adivse.

Basically i have been living in UK since 2008 and in 3 july 2012 i got married with british citizen and i had my spouse visa on 14 feb 2013. After 2 year complition i applied for ILR and now i have got ILR. My question is can i apply for naturalisation straight after that. As i was reading on UKBA website that if you are married to British citizen and you have lived 3 year legally in uk then you dont have to wait 1 year after ILR.

Please advise

If you are married to BC, have ILR and have been resident in the UK for the last 3 years you can apply for naturalisation.
There is no time restriction on ILR if married to BC.

And one more thing like exactly 3 years back you must be present in uk.

I am in the same situation. Has anybody applied and got Citizenship right after ILR using the 3 year stay in UK (out of which 2 years are spouse visa and rest another category)?

Thanks
