Dear forum members
I have recently received my IRL yesterday. I went in person so they gave me IRL approval letter only. My question is regarding my son's MN1 who born in UK. He has also Tier 1 dependant visa and it will be expired in 5 days time 05-02-2015
My question is, do I have to apply his MN1 application before his Tier 1 dependant visa expires or can I apply any time later?
I have two options here,
1) I apply my son's MN1 application before his Tier 1 dependant visa expire along with the IRL approval letter and send my BRP later when I receive
2) I wait for my BRP and then submit MN1 application for my son. But question is, will this affect his application because he has no valid leave to remain
I need your urgent help, please accept my thanks in advance
Regards,

Hello Atif,
You do not need to apply you baby visa.
Please call your NCS ( Nationality Checking Service ) in your Council office and book appointment with them.
They will give you appointment, let say after one week or two so in this time you will get your BRP card.
Also, When they give you appointment so they will detect their fees ( Some council charge 50, some 55 or some 45 ) so please you carry your debit or credit card when you call them.
Documents required :
Your Original Passport
Your Original BRP card.
Your Baby Original Passport - Not necessary
Your Baby Original Birth Certificate
You have to download MN1 form and you will need two reference who has got British passport.
They will take your original documents and will do photo copies, and will attest photo copies and then send to HO.
if you need any other information so please send me pvt msg so I will receive email and I can reply quickly.
I hope it helps.

Hello,
Could any one please let me know if I can get a friend of mine who is a practicing GP to sign in as professional referee?
I called Home office and they say that the professional signatory should be from a person who is professionally engaged with the child like Health Visitor. I couldn't contact my health visitor and I am not sure whether they would remember us. Last time they visited us was over an year ago when my child was born.
Could I ask my Chemist to sign in as professional referee as we used to regularly get medicines/formula milk from them?
Also in the form for questions (1.5) Surname and (1.6) first name should be filled in, correct?
Thanks,
Raam
