Hi There,
I am along with my wife and 2 kids are planning to apply for our british citizenship in coming days.
We know that we need to appear for ESOL for that.
couple of questions
Do we need to appear for Life in UK test as we both (me and wife) passed that test before getting ILR?
Are there any changes coming soon which we should be aware off?
We came here in 2008 on HSMP got our extension in 2010 in Tier 1 and finally got our ILR on 2013.
We have not been out of country for more then 30 days in these 5 years and its been 2 years we are here on ILR .
Please advise, is there any fast phased application possibilities ?
We are in St Albans near Luton area, are there any god colleges where we can take ESOL?
What documents we need for applying for citizenship?
Thanks and waiting for Answers.
Regards
mianrm

Thanks,
I have few more questions,
I am applying with my wife and 2 kids age 11 years and 8 years.
We also had a baby recently and as we were on ILR, do we need to fill MN1 form for this new baby ?
Documents i am planning to send along with the applications are.
2 AN Forms (myself and wife) and 2 MN1 Forms for Kids (or 3 if new born baby form)
All Passports
ILR Cards
Birth Certificates for both kids
Birth Certificate for new born baby (if i had to fill MN1 form for this new baby)
Life in UK Test Certificates
English test Certificates
Marriage certificate english attested translation
Tax Returns for last year, April 2014 for myself and wife
Documents which i am not sure about to include in application or not.
Salary Slips of last 12 months
Bank Statements
Also, my passport expired last month, should i get it renew first and then apply ?
Looking forward
Best Regards

Baby born after ILR is automatically British. You can apply for passport directly.

You don't need to renew your passport if it just expired and if it shows your absences in the last 5 years.

You won't need bank statements, tax returns or payslips either.

If photocopy isn't
attested from Pakistan Foreign Office then request a
replacement from them in Pakistan.
