My husband had a ccj against him which was later set aside.
This was from June 2010, but only appeared once he returned here legally in 2012, set aside June 2012 and never affected his ILR
Will we still need to declare it when we apply for Bc?

I am not an expert on this but I believe you have to declare it.
Even though HO does not make credit check a CCJ will stay on your file for six years.
Would like to hear what other members think.

What do you mean set aside? Did you file a Statutory declaration? Pay the fine? How/Was it settled?

We rang up Severn Trent after we got letters demanding payment. It was hubby's name but for address he has never even lived at. Severn Trent informed us we should send proof of address at that time, ie tenancy agreement which we lprovided and then later we received letters from Severn trent and Northampton court. Severn trent said all charges were dropped and the court say the judgement has been set aside and there's nothing to pay.

Noted. If you didn't declare it in ILR then you don't need to declare it with Naturalisation esp since charges were dropped. I had Magistrate's court conviction I was never aware of, filed Statutory declaration and settled the matter outside the court. I never declared it on ILR and wont be on Naturalisation either, due to ap[ply on March 3.

The court paper says request/order to be side as judgement was sent in error. And it was ordered that the judgement was set aside, the registration be and hereby cancelled. Severn trent said that the proceedings in this case have been cancelled.
