Daughter born outside the UK. Mother is British by decent..

I am british be decent..got my citizenship as soon as i was born outside uk from my mother.. I have a 6 year old british daughter and 10 month old british son.. I have a 3 year old daughter who wasn't born in uk and therefore doesn't have the citizenship..i have always been on trips to london and only settled finally a year and a half ago august 2013.. My daughter came with me on a 2 year visit visa..as soon as i arrived i applied for her to be naturalised as a british citizen at the home offices discretion..her application was handed it November 2013 and is still under process.. Her visit visa will expire april 2015.. I was advised to stop the naturalisation application and instead apply form set f for her before her visa expires.. Is there any advice you may have.
What is the status of the child that is on a visit visa that is to expire April 2015.

Did you ever
live in the UK for at least 3 years before your daughter was born?
Note that if she has been in the UK for over six months as a
visitor, then she is already an
overstayer.
She may apply for SET(F) if the requirements of
A280(b), 299 are met.
There's little point in stopping the registration process, as there is a chance that it may still
succeed and you won't get your money back.

Thx's Vinny for your reply. her visa was granted for two years. She is in nursery here in the UK. Her visa is going to expire in four months, Home office has her application for naturalization since last Jan. what should I do. Home office say they are still looking into it and can't give me any defenite answer. What happens if her visa expires.Your advice would be for great help.

Yes unless your baby will never travel out of the U.K.
This is really outrageous. 250 pounds for such a small straight forward thing.
I am sure its cheaper than the swiss trip if its just to avoid paying this FLR fee
. You need from FLR (O) - if you were getting a WP extension you would have added your baby to the currently free FLR(WPH) form but this does not apply in this case.
My question is, If we go to Switzerland for a day trip, and come back to UK , can we request the immigration officer to stamp the dependant Visa on my baby's passport ?
No. Visa Nationals which includes nationals of India cannot travel to the UK without a visa. An Immigration Officer cannot in any case admit you for more than 6 months even for non visa nationals as the rules have been amended to require all non EEA nationals (and their dependents) to apply for a visa if coming to the UK for more than 6 months.
( This is becoz, to go to switzerland, we do not need any visa as we are residents in UK)
This concession only applies to those holding a UK visa granted with more than 6 months validity unless such is a vignette format multiple entry visitors visa. Your baby does not meet this criteria until he/she has the dependent FLR stamp on his/her passport. Your option are to get FLR, go to swiss without the baby or cancel the trip for now.

Aren't you currently in the UK? Doesn't your child have a foreign passport with a UK visa?
