When showing 'lawful residence/presence' in the UK, was your passport enough?
It say proof can be passport OR other documents but family members are telling me that passport only isn't enough.
I've only left the country once in 5 years (May 2010 - June 2010).

Yes, if they show your travel.

Family members are wrong, your Passport in-out stamps are enough.

That is exactly what my situation was, passport had stamps to and from airports. That's all NCS wanted to check, plus that I was physically present 5 years before the date of application. Good luck.
