photogph -"technical" question

Hi all,

Section 5 of AN form (referees) requires the photo of an applicant to sign and put the date of birth on the back of the photo and then glue it or staple it to the form.

I don't understand whether it is supposed to be glued permanently (so the referees section can not be corrupted by changing the photo) or this photograph needs to be "removable" by HO for the naturalisation certificate?

Big thanks

Hi Miangee,

Thanks for a rapid response!

I understand then that the marking it with name and date of birth at the back is only in case it detaches itself and lands somewhere random.

That is correct. If it detaches so that they can find the application it has come from.
There won't be a photo on the certificate but the letter HO sends to council will have your photo on it.
You don't need to glue it permanently Just write your name and DOB on the back and use glue stick to glue it to the paper. Glue stick is not permanent.
