Hello, Ihave applied british citizenship end of February.I came to uk illegally in 2001,married my wife in 2002. I left uk 2006 to regularize my stay in uk without ho knowing anything about me,came back to uk 2007.got ilr in 2010.What do you think my chances are of approval. thanks

Likely be refused until 2016.

Thanks amber.Do you think if refused,I can politely ask for a reconsideration explaining I came to uk Ist time 2001.So 10 years from then.thanks

Its unlikely that such a reconsideration would result in a positive outcome, as your entry in 2001 was illegal.
