Hi,

I would like to know what's the earliest date that i can apply for naturalization through NCS.

Can I apply a week before completing one year of ILR?
And
Will I be able to travel to India after applying for naturalization?

Please help me with your valuable answers.

Thanks very much.

1. No, do not apply till your 12 months on ILR are completed.

2. NCS will give you your ILR BRP and passport back, so you are okay for travelling. But I'd request at least have a facility of someone to have your posts checked while you are away, in case Home Office requires further information.

Tower Hamlets NCS offered me to book appointment early and they would post on appropriate day so it gets received by Home Office 1 year after your ILR has passed.

We had a case on the forum recently where the NCS agreed to hold the application until the qualifying date but sent it early and the application was refused. The member had no proof that they had an arrangement with the NCS and no compensation for the lost fee. Personally, I would be extremely wary of applying before the due date.
