My self British Citizen by naturalisation, currently in India with family
my wife is on ILR, currently residing in India.
We have two kids born in UK before we settled (ILR)
Now both kids in India there visa expired we planning to come back to UK

I wish to apply for my kids as British Citizen, before that i need to Register them first.
So all documents with MN1 is ready to post UKIV in UK from India.

required documents:
1) MN1 Form
2) Fees
3) Original Full UK Birth Certificate
4) Original passport's for kids (if any)
5) Parent passport with ILR or British Passport
6) Marriage Certificate

but unfortunately, I discovered we cannot send original passports of parents and kids to UK neither from post nor from Courier.
I spoke to UKIV (home office) about the above situation, and requested that i will send all photocopies but he said No he need to see original passports.

Please suggest what should i do to apply from INDIA.

can I apply from india with all photo copies of children passports and original/copy Biomertric cards ?

is there any new rule that children must be physically present in UK to apply from NCS or being parent I can apply without them if I carry original passports with me to UK, NCS ?

any issues carrying children original passports at immigration from India to UK without childrens, just to submit through NCS?

can NCS will ask children current location India/UK?

I am in exactly the same situation as you!

I and my wife are having ILR and are in India currently and our son has an Indian passport and is with us in India. I want to apply for our son's registration using MN1 from India. But I am not sure how to do it.
How do you manage get the referees' signatures?
Where do you send the application form to and the documents.

Please let me know how you have been getting on with the application process? Any reply will be greatly appreciated. Please try and help me.
