Hi everyone,
My application is still under consideration with the HO since march 2015.. I am a student and working as part-time . I am Non EEA but married to EEA/BC .My application based on AN2 and I obtained my 5yrs residency automatically without PR sticker on my passport. My questions is that. do i need comprehensive insurance as a student or this is not necessary since my wife already became BC citizen?

Thanks

My understanding is evidence of health insurance is only required for EEA citizens applying under EEA treaty rights/PR.
- as a non-EEA citizen and spouse of British citizen I do not think health insurance is relevant.

martin,
My wife, as a non-EEA national, applied as my spouse (BC) and didn't have to submit proof of any health insurance.

I realise you may be applying on basis of your 5 years residency as the spouse of an EEA national (instead of as spouse of a British citizen).
If that's the case, I don't know about the rules around health insurance for dependents of EEA citizens.
