recognised degree from UK NARIC for naturalization

Hi,

Currently I have Indefinite Leave to Remain and I am an Indian citizen. I got the ILR status on 18-6-2014. So, now I am eligible for British Citizenship and I am planning to apply for naturalization soon.

I am filling up "Form AN Application form (version 05/15)" for naturalization.

In section 1.22, "Knowledge of language/life in the UK", it says, if "I met the knowledge of language and life requirement to qualify for settlement on or after
28th October 2013", then I do not need to take any tests or prove my qualification was taught in english.

But in the guidance it says otherwise. I have to prove both, which is, pass Life in UK test and either my degree was taught in english or I have to pass one of the english language tests.

To begin with, in my initial Tier -1 application, I have proved my english language skills. My Bachelors degree was taught in English, and it was appearing in PBS calculator.

My question is, do i need to obtain a certificate from UK NARIC or my Life in UK certificate will suffice (as I took the test after 28th Oct 2013)?

Also, I can not access PBS calculator now? As it is showing only certain categories under Tier -1 (like exceptional talent, investor and entrepreneur).

Hope I am clear about my question, does anyone know whether I need to get certificate form UK NARIC?

Recent posters here used the 'tier 2' option of the calculator, as was apparently explained to them by a NCS adviser:

Good luck.
