By 'Travel Document' do you mean 'Passport'??

When did it expire?

It should not be an issue, many people have applied with recently expired Passports.

No you do not need to renew travel documents, you can just show your stay in UK by other means, e.g. payslips, bills etc.
But, Personally I think you should have ILR for refugees (click here) before you could apply for Naturalisation as a British Citizen. Good luck.

Please If someone can help me with my problem ,

I have been granted a refugee status , when my documents came back they sent me my passport back also with my biometric card and NI , but I have noticed that they usually dont send passport back to refugees. Does anyone know why did they send back to me ?? and I travelled once on my passport to some other country not my home country defo. Will it affect when I apply for ILR ??
