I send my application 31st of March. Received acknowledge receipt on 9th of April. I requested return of my documents on 1st of June as I have to travel to Poland. Waited 10 working days after reported not receiving documents in 10 working days. I called UKBA been advised to complet another request for return of my documents so I did. Called 2week ago explaining that I need my documents as I have to be in Poland on 4th of July. The gentleman on the phone left me with devastating news that none of my request exist in UKBA system. I can't see how this is possible as I have all the reference numbers. I contacted my local MP office so they contacted home office on my behalf but no response For past week I called them every day,I manage to speak to serval people in UKBA but none of them could help me as every day I heard different story. I contacted Polish embassy for new documents but waiting time is 7weeks Can someone advise me what else I could do

I would advice you to chase them and wait for your passport than to apply another one from Polish embassy because your previous documents will counts as invalid to the UKVI if you obtain new passport. Why cant you use ID to travel to poland?

I don't have valid passport as expired last Dec So my ID is with UKBA

Your fault. Should have used NCS.

I think half of the applicants, as soon as they make application, realise that they now suddenly urgently need to travel

Your application must be in the system if fee has been taken & you have reference number/s.

Perhaps the officials you spoke to on the phone meant your request for return of documents was not registered in the system?
(Was it originally an online request for return? - possibly some glitch with the online request system).

In the circumstances, with NCS not used, sadly no quick solution comes to mind;
can you nominate someone else to do whatever is required in Poland?

I didn't know about NCS, but lesson learn do do the homework properly

Home Office claim that my documents has been send out in envelop I send it with my application (prepaid special delivery guaranteed) yesterday at 11:29 but I haven't received anything. I called Post Office and they told me that the item never been send out from home office as if it did post man would scan the letter and would be in post office system. Now it is possible that Home Office not telling me the truth as the MP is involved and they don't want to admit they lost my documents? Would they lie like that and say it has been send out yesterday for sure? Or the post man made a mistake and didn't scan my letter Anyone know how does it work

You should find the relevant tracking number on the Post Office receipt (if you have one) for the prepaid envelope.
You can track the package via the Royal Mail tracker webpage.

You should find the relevant tracking number on the Post Office receipt (if you have one) for the prepaid envelope.
You can track the package via the Royal Mail tracker webpage.

Probably best not to think of it in terms of truth or lies.
Maybe someone made an honest mistake.

If it has been posted out give it 24hours to show up in the system.
