I’m currently settled in UK and my Partner is British citizen .We blessed with a child

Can you please advice on below?
1. Do we need to register any where else apart from birth registration?
2. Can we apply the British Passport Directly to my child?
3. If so what are the supporting document need to provide from our side?

2. Just get the form from post office its straight forward
3. Birth certificate & British Citizen parents' passport number on the form
