Hi Gurus,

I have a simple question about MN1 form. Can we enter the ILR approval letter reference number in 1.2 (page 3) or do we always have to wait for the ILR cards to arrive and then user their reference number in the form?

Your HO reference is the number you need. This number, once you get it after your first application in UK, always remains the same. Any letters you receive from HO will have this number.

This number starts with first letter of you Surname, followed by 7 digits.

If your surname is khan, then your ref number will be K1234567.

Thanks for your reply. But I don't have such a reference number in any of the HO correspondence that exactly fulfills this criteria. May be I can use the BRP number (which has 2 letters followed by 7 digits) ?
