Hi
I have recently got my ILR approved, I would like to apply for my 2.5 Years Old Boy Registration Through MN1 Form.

Can a refree be a retired professional? In my case Retired Professor/Lectr

ii) I am not able to get hold of any health visitor and GP will not sign the refree, i would like to apply at my earliest as we have future travel plans plus my sons visa is runing out not sure if that would matter as previously stated by senior members that under 10 overstay is not a problem.

iii)

if i were to send the documents my self in post, would i need to send my original ILR card, or copy will do? pls note both parents have ILR.

Please advice.

Regards

A retired professional can certainly be the second reference if they are over age 25 & hold a British passport.

ii) As alternatives, how about a local pharmacist or even a religious leader.
If you take your son to a pharmacy for supplies a few times that would be the pharmacist engaging in a professional capacity.
Similarly participating at events at a place of worship is an engagement.

See full list of accepted professions here:

iii) You cannot send a photopcopy of BRP.

Suggest you consider using NCS (at a local council);
they wil sanity check your application & forward certified copies of documents to HO - all for a reasonable fee.

Hi
Thank you for your detailed reply, Sadly no one can easily agree to provide refrence as well as their date of births.

I have used a friend of mine as a professional, Who is Doctor/GP and Family Friend. Could not think of anyone else.

and Second one is a British Citzen (Retired Professor/Lect)

I Have spoken to local council today and they will arrange an appointment for me.

Got the ILR Cards in post next day.
