MN1 Biometrics - Any Deadline ?

Hello,
When biometrics are requested for child's MN1 form, is there a deadline before that needs to be done?
I am planning to apply for my child's MN1 but there is an emergency travel coming up and we would not be in this country when they ask to provide biometrics. We can give that after coming back.
Is this possible?
Thanks

There is usually a 15 day deadline to submit biometrics. If this is going to be a problem and without risk of application rejection and loss of fee, I would suggest you apply for MN1 when you return to the UK.

HO plays hardball on enrolling biometrics, it's just 2 strikes and the application is out.
If the applicant is a no-show the first time they should receive a second 'warning' letter;
this letter gives a further period of 10 working days (from date of 2nd letter) in which to enrol the biometrics.
Failing that the application will fail.
As mentioned above, for such a critical step in someone's life, it's probably worth revisiting travels plans or deferring the application.

2nd biometric invitation letter (warning letter) gives u 17 working days to enrol your biometric.
This page tells you what to do if an applicant fails or refuses to enrol their biometric information or pay the handling fee.
Failure to attend Post Office
If a person who is eligible to enrol their biometric information at a Post Office does not attend a Post Office within 15 working days of the date of their biometric information notification letter, you must send them a ‘biometric appointment warning letter’ this is reference ICD4523 on document generator on CID.
For more information on issuing rejection warning letters, see related link: Main applicant has not enrolled at a Post Office.
If a person is sent a rejection warning letter, they then have a further 17 working days from the date of the warning letter to enrol at a Post Office.

My source from HO "Biometric information: introduction", dated May 2015, see:

- ref page 44:
The rejection warning letter tells the applicant they must enrol at a Post Office, within 10 working days of the date of the letter
Another case of governmental left-hand / right-hand
Whether 10 days, 15 or 17 days, the conclusion is clear; take it seriously & don't miss that window of opportunity.

Your information is up to date. Now it is 10 working days. I have old biometric guidance Dec 13.

Thanks all for the response.
I assume once we get the naturalisation letter, it would be ok to travel then after that.
