After sitting the Life in the UK Test in July 2015 we were advised by the test centre to sit a Pearson ESOL Skills for Life Test (Entry 3) for the UK naturalisation application. They told us that the test will be valid until November 2015, which we thought was OK. Now I am filling out the application (AN form) and I'm concerned that Pearson is not on the list of test centres in question 1.25 ("sat on or after 6 April 2015"). Does it mean that the test centre misled us and the test certificate would not be accepted?

The imminent changes for proof of English have caused a lot of confusion. There are many posts about this in the forum.
The poorly worded Gov UK website for proof of English doesn't help; (oh the irony).

As you are applying for naturalistion, is the ESOL certificate you have listed on the Ofqual website?
See http://register.ofqual.gov.uk/

If so then answer Q1.23 by ticking (checking): A test that is on the Ofqual register
then move onto Q1.27.

You can also prove your knowledge of English by having:

an ESOL qualification at Entry 3 or higher (eg Level 1 or 2) on the Ofqual register taken in England, Wales or Northern Ireland - qualifications at Entry 1 or 2 won’t be accepted

From November 2015, you won’t be able to use ESOL qualifications as proof for settlement and citizenship applications.
