Hi all,
I wanted to apply for British Citizen as I passed my Life in the UK Test few days ago and got English language requirements at least that is what i thought. I can't locate though my Entry 3 Speanking and Listening from Cambridge in my home- I just can't find it, and I wanted to apply the passport asap. One last thing I do have other qualifications but these qualifications cannot be accepted. Is there any other qualifications I can use please? Any ideas/suggestions? and How long it may take to get them please? Thanks in advance

Just to be clear, applying to naturalise as a UK citizen is a 2-stage process (once you have 'settled' status in UK)

1) naturalise - for an adult, use form AN

2) when naturalised, apply for a first British passport.

To naturalise you will need both a LITUK test pass certificate plus an acceptable ESOL certificate;
(be aware rules in this area are changing in November 2015).

So you will need your ESOL certificate.
If you can't find it and can't get a replacement from the issuing exam body then you will have to think about taking a new test.
