Hi all,
 I came in UK as a student in 2,000 and stopped renewing my visa in 2002. i.e. overstayed my visa from 2002 - 2008.
 Claimed Asylum in 2008 and was granted Refugee Status in the same year.
 I was granted ILR in 2013
 Applied for Naturalisation in December 2014 (after 1 yr with ILR)
 In 2015, Good character requirement was amended to 10 yrs.
 Home Office wrote asking me to provide proof of residence otherwise my application will be rejected.
 Question: How likely would succeed If I argue that the 2015 changes/ interpretation of the Good Character came into effect after my application was submitted?

To the best of my understanding you've a 100 % chance to win as the rule came after you've applied for your Naturalization.

I am not sure. As they use this rule on everyone I am doubtful you can argue about it. There is a reconsideration not appeal.
Hope gurus can tell us more

That's not how it works, 2018 is when you need to apply. Straight from the horse's mouth:

Annex D: the good character requirement

This guidance applies to all decisions taken on or after 11 December 2014.

HI all - received the decision from HO.
Its a refusal based on the good chacter requirement.
