Hi All,
My daughter born in India and at that time I was on ILR and my wife was on Tier2 dependent visa. Now i am British Citizen now and my daughter is in UK. Can I apply for her British Citizenship for her ?.
This is very important since her current visa is expiring in Dec. If i apply for her citizenship directly do i need to extend her visa simultaneously

Has her visa been issued in line with her mother's visa?
What is the mothers current visa status?
Children born abroad are expected to hold ILR before they can apply for Citizenship.
You have ILR at the time of birth abroad is irrelevant. It would only have made a difference if child was born in the UK as then the child would have been British by birth.

Mother is still on Tier2 dependent and my daughter visa is issued in line with Mother's visa (saying dependent of wife name )
so you mean to say that she need to apply for ILR? if yes whats the criteria to get the kids ILR ?

The child will qualify for ILR when the mother applies for ILR.
How long has your wife been in the UK as a PBS Dependent?
What are ALL her visa start and expiry dates and her entry dates to the UK?
When did you child come to the UK and how old is the child?

Broadly, leave for children born outside the UK is in line with that of the less-privileged parent.
In your case, your child born outside the UK will be a dependant of your wife until your wife attains citizenship.

apply for PBS dependent
This one, provided you obtained ILR based on PBS route and not 10 years long residence.
